Sometimes boring cloudy Monday evening can change to unexpected rainy sunset. I really liked this suddenly event here in Stockholm... and I was ready.
I had a plan to meet with two friends in Gamla Stan at the local coffee shop and talk photography. I took the subway which I usually do, not just because it’s good for environment its even the fastest way to wherever you want to go in the city. Just before my arrival to Gamla Stan station I saw that weather changed and the beautiful and dramatic sunset was on its way.
I had my drone with me. One of my friends was curios and wanted to see it. I was really happy with that getting the possibilty to photograph rainy sunset here in Stockholm..
I went strait way to Riddarholmen and prepared my self for quick flight. It would start to rain in about 15 minutes and it wasn’t so much time. I informed my friends about quick change of plan. They where on the way to meet me here and and both had camera with them.
It was raining during the sunset
It was a quite windy evening probably more then 10 m/s and I was aware of that. I tool my time and didn’t rush up in the air considering my time limitations. When I was hight enough I found a good position and made a few panoramic photos. Unfortunately I just had enough with time for that and needed to fly back to home point. It started to rain much faster than predicted. Fortunately one of the friend arrived with car and parked a minute away from me. I quick landed my drone and took it my hands and run strait way to my friend car.
I get wet anyway and happy with photos I get. This is how it ended unexpected rainy sunset in Stockholm… where everything is possible.
